Invincible Filly Salutes for Bluebloods

I Am Invincible was expected to sire the winner of the two year-old fillies event at Sandown on Wednesday, but the filly that saluted was not the filly sent out favourite.

While his two time winning daughter Holy Seal battled into third as favourite, it was his talented daughter She’s So High that made a winning debut when surging clear to win the 1000 metre scamper by half a length.  (Pictured: She’s So High as a yearling)

Trained by Mick Price, She’s So High sports the well-known red and blue colours of Blueblood Thoroughbreds who tasted Group I success this season with the Mick Price trained mare Secret Agenda.

Connections will no doubt be hoping She’s So High can follow in her formidable footsteps.

A $120,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Amarina Farm draft for Blueblood Thoroughbreds, She’s So High was bred by Kambula Stud and was originally sold by them at the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale for $65,000.

She is a half-sister to Group III placed Bangs and is the second winner from minor winning Exceed and Excel mare High Achiever.

High Achiever was anything but that as a racehorse, although her pedigree suggests there is more to come as she is a grand-daughter of Announce, who is also the grand-dam of high flying siblings Shooting to Win and Deep Field.

High Achiever died last year and her final foal is She’s So High, who may well have more to offer come spring
