SHE’S IN WORK!
AN EXQUISITE FILLY BY DUNDEEL FROM ONE OF THE BEST FAMILIES IN THE STUDBOOK – TRAINED BY CIARON MAHER – “IN WORK NOW”.
Although we have concentrated on buying precocious early running types at the Sales this year, we could not resist throwing our hat in the ring for this filly, a likely 3yo, mile and beyond proposition. We were chuffed to have come away with her and Ciaron Maher was very happy to take her on.
She is a relaxed, bombproof style of horse. She has a lovely loose walk with plenty of purpose, rather than some of those gangly, uncoordianted types in the “scopey” category.
This filly is bred on the same cross as Gr.2 winner and Gr.1 placed LET’SROLLTHEDICE and hails from a prominent Black Type family. Her Dam was a speedy winner of 2 races yet is a half-sister to Gr.1 VRC Oaks PERSONAL. Her 3rd Dam is Blue Hen Mare, PROCRASTINATE producer of 5 Stakeswinners among them 2 Stallions, Time Thief and Foreplay.
DUNDEEL needs very little introduction. He is The Champion 3YO, the six-time Group 1 winner & weight-for-age superstar of Australia. Now a major sire of 8 Group 1 winners, including multiple G1 winners Castelvecchio, Militarize & Celestial Legend.
We have high hopes for this girl and just a win on the resumé should see her recoup her purchase price, when we offer her as a Broodmare. Any Back Type will make her a very valuable commodity.

DUNDEEL – His 2020 and 2021 crops were touted by many to take him to a whole new level of performance.
The fulfilment of that prediction began with his first two million-dollar yearlings sold in 2022. It continued with his 16 2YO winners and 14 stakes performers in 2022/23. And was under-lined by Militarize, Dundeel’s third Group 1-winning 2YO.
Dundeel put himself in the company of Champion Sires Snitzel, Written Tycoon, Savabeel & I Am Invincible when he claimed the No. 6 spot on the 2022/23 Australian General Sires’ Premiership with prizemoney of $13.4 million and 7 stakeswinners.
He maintained his top 10 status in 2023/24 thanks to Militarize’s spectacular Golden Rose G1 victory, Celestial Legend’s outstanding Doncaster Mile G1 & Randwick Guineas G1 wins and 7 other stakeswinners including Aquacade, Konasana & Femminile.
Dundeel opened the 2024/25 season with 3 new Group winners in Melbourne, all from his 2021 crop: the colts Red Aces & Kingofwallstreet, and the filly Jasmin Rouge. His marvellous first-crop son The Inevitable has added two Listed wins to his $2 million record, Konasana has won Group races in NSW & New Zealand and Cinch & Deel Her in have won Listed Races in Launceston & Perth. EPITOMISE By More Than Ready, EPITOMISE won twice over 1200m. She is a siter to Gr.2 performer, Trope and half sister to Gr.1 winner, PERSONAL, Gr.3 performed SELECTIFY and STAKES performed LASER FLASH.
Her GRAND DAM is the great producer, PROCRASTINATE, Dam of 12 WINNERS incl. 5 Stakeswinners. Among them, Sires, TIME THIEF and FOREPLAY, Multiple Gr1 LAISSERFAIRE, A TIME FOR JULIA (Dam of SW AS TIME GOES BY) and SW PERSONIFY. This her 4th foal, her 3rd foal is an unraced 2yo and the 2 to race are both multiple winners.
Trainer

Nominations and Bonuses
This filly is paid up for the lucrative BOBS Bonus scheme and is nominated for the $5 million Golden Slipper, $1 million Golden Rose, $2 million Blue Diamond, $200,000 Blue Sapphire and the Inglis Race Series.

Share Price Includes – Purchase Price, Nominations and Bonus Schemes, Agistment, Breaking In, X-Rays & Clinical Examination, Scoping and Mortality Insurance is covered up to the 28th February 2026.
Ongoing Expenses and MMF: The Ongoing Expenses consist of a $77 flat Monthly Management Fee (MMF) per owner, regardless of share percentage. The remainder of the fees are the Ongoing Expenses for the horse billed monthly, in arrears, which are split between the owners based on their percentage held. The following are estimated total monthly costs based on averages, as the Ongoing Expenses for the horse do vary depending on the current whereabouts of the horse i.e. training, spelling etc. The following amounts include both the $77 MMF and the average Ongoing Expenses combined:
- 2.5% – $162 estimated total monthly cost
- 5% – $247 estimated total monthly cost
- 10% – $417 estimated total monthly cost
Your first monthly fee will due on the 28th November 2025 (or the next business day if the 28th falls on a weekend or public holiday).
