10th January 2025 UPDATE
A GREAT VALUE WILD RULER COLT TO LAUNCH OUR FUTURE WITH BEN, WILL & JD HAYES. We were particularly keen to secure a yearling by Wild Ruler, the Gr1 winning son of Snitzel. He was a pre-Christmas Stakes winning 2yo too and we’re looking for early running types. Our Bloodstock Team were very impressed with what they saw of his progeny, particularly the colts and we’re confident we’ve come away with his best son offered at the Sale. Hear what Ben Hayes has to say about this strapping colt in the video below.
Lot 940, is a colt our Bloodstock Team rated very highly. The boys from Lindsay Park were very upbeat about him too, so rather than get into a bidding war, after the horse was knocked down to them for a very reasonable price, we arranged to partner with the successful training outfit.
They already had part of him sold however we managed to secure the remaining shares for syndication, He will race in our colours and under our control. We are very excited A) to have acquired this colt and B) to have Ben, Will and JD train for us and look forward to seeing what this very tidy colt can become.
There has already been significant interest in him with 30% already sold so please don’t hesitate or you might miss the opportunity to race this special colt.

Dam
Sing A Rainbow is a UK sprinting mare, who is out of FRANKEL, a winner, half-sister to LAVENDERS BLUE MOOMBA GRP2 AND 3 winner and multiple stakes placed. This is her second foal, her first foal has won 4 races from only 5 starts..
A daughter of Frankel, one of the world’s greatest racehorses, he hails from a prominent European family and was herself a winner over 2400m. She has produced a filly Luna Rae by Sea The Moon who has won 4 from 5 in Europe.
With pace from Wild Ruler and her input of stamina we’re hopeful we could have a fast early horse, who can train on and possibly get out over a mile, who knows… maybe 2040m.
Trainer
The third generation of Hayes family sons proudly and officially took up the Lindsay Park training reins on 21 June 2021 when Ben was joined by his younger brother JD to form a training partnership and open a new era in the 74-year history of the Hayes family business. On August 2, 2023, they were joined by JD’s twin brother Will. Will Hayes played top level VFL and AFL football while still riding trackwork for Lindsay Park before getting his trainer’s license. As sons of David and grandsons of Colin Hayes, Ben, Will and JD have been finely educated in horsemanship and are firmly dedicated to continuing the integrity and success of the stable so the Hayes family tradition can continue. The Team finished 3rd on the National Trainers Premiership Seaosn 23/24 We are thrilled to embark on this exciting journey with the Team at Lindsay Park.
