What a great year it has been so far for BlueBlood Thoroughbreds having had success with multiple Group runners Secret Agenda (Gr1 and Gr2 winner), Sedanzer (5th Gr1 and 4th Gr3), She’s So High (4th Gr1 and 3rd Listed) and the newest addition being SEABROOK, a 2YO filly by Hinchinbrook out of Midnight Revels, lining up in the $250,000 Inglis Banner R Listed with champion jockey, D. Oliver to pilot her.
Blueblood’s Director, Carol Walsh commented, “In racing, it is tough to get precocious 2yo’s. We have been at the sales looking for a horse of this status. David (Blueblood’s Racing Manager) and Mick Price fell in love with this filly by Hinchinbrook at the Inglis Premier Sale this year and we just had to have her. I was ecstatic when the hammer was knocked down to me at a modest sale price of $85,000. Seabrook has done everything right to date and I can only hope that she comes out on Saturday and does us proud. It’s a testament to racehorse syndications to have such a quality horse for first time owners in the industry on the historic Cox Plate Day where we will also witness Winx try to match Kingston Town’s three Cox Plate wins.”
The filly is solid in betting with the early market having her at an $11 chance.
