It was a tricky first-up run for DEPRIVATION after having a pre-race incident and still showed good fight when 6th.
Second-up the No Nay Never gelding would have no issue, jumping cleanly from barrier 8 to speed across and settle 2nd.
At the top of the straight Matthew Chadwick shook the reins and he let down powerfully to salute by half a length.
