SHE’S BLUEBLOOD THROUGH AND THROUGH – BY THE LIGHTENING-FAST HOME AFFAIRS, I AM INVINCIBLE’S FATEST SON AND HAILS FROM A FAMLY THAT SCREAMS ELITE RACING CLASS
Mick Price says, “nice neat little filly, little kicker and has a bit of attitude about her but has been well handled and well broken in. Nice ride this morning, popped over her neck and ran 3 evens, 15 to the furlong on the poly in company and she was good. We will teach her and let her roll up a little bit and put her through the barrier and see how she goes. But at this stage she is no trouble at all.”
Watch the videos below to see the filly and hear comments from Mick Price and the team.
She is out of a 3/4 sister to STARSPANGLEDBANNER a dual hemisphere 4 x Gr1 winner and successful stallion here and in Europe.
This filly is currently in full work with Mick Price & Michael Kent Jr (Price Kent Racing) who are very upbeat about her. She set to race as a 2yo, likely before Christmas and like her champion father expected to train on. He won at Gr1 level twice in his 3yo year. Physically she cannot be faulted she is built like a genuine sprinter, compact, powerful and very fluent in her action.

Trainer
The training partnership between Mick Price and Michael Kent Jr. represents a masterful blend of experience and innovation, forming one of the most respected and progressive operations in Australian thoroughbred racing. With their main headquarters at Cranbourne, Victoria, and a strategic base in Sydney, the duo has developed a truly national presence—one that is defined by meticulous preparation, elite horse management, and a vision for long-term success across all levels of the sport.
Mick trained 2 Group One winners for us – Secret Agenda and also Seabrook, both horses who had stellar careers in our colours.
Mick Price brings over three decades of top-tier training experience to the partnership, his name synonymous with excellence and integrity. Throughout his career, Price has been lauded for his straight-talking style, precise placement of horses, and deep understanding of how to manage elite athletes. His impressive record includes over 40 Group 1 victories, with stars such as Lankan Rupee, Samaready, Tarzino, and Extreme Choice among the many champions to have passed through his hands. His ability to identify potential and cultivate it into performance has been a constant hallmark of his work, earning him a reputation as one of the best judges and trainers in the country.
In 2020, Price welcomed Michael Kent Jr. as co-trainer, ushering in a new era for the stable. The son of veteran trainer Michael Kent Sr., Kent Jr. brought with him a wealth of international experience, having worked across the UK, Ireland, and the United States. His global perspective, paired with a modern, data-driven approach, added new layers of depth to the operation. Skilled in bloodstock selection, form analysis, and owner engagement, Kent Jr. has proven a dynamic complement to Price’s seasoned expertise. Together, they have created a partnership that is equal parts heritage and innovation—grounded in tradition yet always evolving.
In 2024, the stable expanded its reach into New South Wales with the opening of a permanent base in Sydney, further strengthening their national footprint. This dual-state operation has enabled the team to campaign more effectively during key Sydney carnivals, manage travel demands for horses and staff with greater precision, and cater to an increasingly diverse ownership base. With full-time teams and tailored facilities in both Cranbourne and Sydney, the partnership now boasts the resources and infrastructure to compete at the highest level year-round.
Their facilities are among the best in the country. The Cranbourne base offers access to grass, synthetic, hill tracks, and beach work, while their Sydney stable ensures adaptability and strategic positioning during northern campaigns. Central to their success is a training philosophy rooted in individualized horse care, data-led planning, and a careful balance between performance and long-term soundness. This thoughtful, horse-first approach ensures that each galloper receives exactly what they need to thrive, both physically and mentally.
The stable’s recent stars speak volumes about their ability to develop and manage elite talent. Horses like Jacquinot, winner of the Golden Rose and Orr Stakes, and I’m Thunderstruck, victor of the Toorak Handicap and Golden Eagle and a placegetter in the Cox Plate, have headlined an era of Group-level dominance. Meanwhile, promising talents such as Glint Of Silver, Amenable, and What You Need continue to emerge, highlighting the stable’s deep pipeline of rising stars. Respected throughout the industry for their transparency, professionalism, and relentless pursuit of excellence, Mick Price & Michael Kent Jr. Racing has earned a firm place at the forefront of Australian racing. Their ability to adapt in a rapidly evolving industry, combined with consistent results and strong owner communication, has made them a training operation of choice for many. With a national reach and a collaborative spirit, they are poised to remain a dominant force—ready to seize opportunity, wherever and whenever it arises.
