AN I AM INVINCIBLE COLT OUT OF A FASTNET ROCK MARE FOR $130K AND HE’S PEFRECT! NOT BAD CONSIDERING HIS SERVICE FEE IS MORE THAN TWICE THAT.

Bjorn Baker will train this racey type, an August 5th foal!

Talk about precocious…he’s already well-developed parading at the Inglis Classic Sale 15.3HH and 473kg, so expect him to get up and go early.

One of the first things you will notice about this handsome boy is that love heart in the middle of his forehead! It’s reminiscent of Lankan Rupee and matches his Torryburn brand.

The I Am Invincible x Fastnet Rock cross is proven with an incredible 6 Stakes Winners including, Airman, Queen Of The Ball, Bodyguard, and the very exciting Isthmus amongst them.

Incidentally, his Mother’s Dam is a half-sister to the mighty Holy Roman Emperor.

There is so much to like about this guy, make sure you don’t miss this opportunity… it could be a life changer!

Sire

I AM INVINCIBLE – “Vinnie” is leaving an indelible mark on the racing and breeding industries.

Three-time Champion Sire in 2021/22, 2022/23 and 2023/24, just the third sire this century to achieve three consecutive premierships.

Leading all sires with 80% winners to runners, with 9.5% stakes winners to runners.

Leading Australian Sire by winners on five occasions, Champion First Season Sire and Champion Sire of two-year-olds with 15 G1 winners so far, including Imperatriz (10-time G1 winner), Home Affairs, In Secret, Hellbent, Viddora, Brazen Beau, Loving Gaby, Move To Strike, etc.

With a legacy built on excellence and unparalleled performance, I Am Invincible has set many new records including:

  • Seasonal prizemoney ($32,162,170) and winners (175) set in 2023/24.
  • Southern Hemisphere record price for a two-year-old ready-to-run horse: NZ$1.65 million (Vinnie ex Shillelagh, colt) at NZB Karaka set in 2024.
  • Southern Hemisphere record price for a filly or mare: $6.6 million (Imperatriz) at Magic Millions set in 2024.

His influence extends beyond the sales ring with nine sire sons at stud in Australia so far, three having already produced G1 winners.

A G1-producing broodmare sire, just this year we saw Asfoora win the G1 King Charles Stakes at Royal Ascot and Kimochi the G1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes in Australia. He stands for $275,000 at Yarraman Park.

Dam

CALIFORNIA ROGUSTA – California Rogusta is an un-raced daughter of the mighty Fastnet Rock. She is a sister to Stakes placed Lady Young and her Dam is a half-sister to 4 x winning 2yo and multiple Gr1 winning Sire, Holy Roman Emperor. This is her second foal; her first foal is a 2yo.

Trainer

Bjorn Baker, a multiple Group One winning thoroughbred horse trainer, grew up surrounded by horses, stables, and the racetrack, absorbing the nuances of racing life from his earliest moments. His father, Murray Baker, a New Zealand Racing Hall of Fame legendary horse trainer was initially based in Woodville, before relocating to Cambridge, a hotbed of New Zealand racing. Bjorn’s upbringing in this environment deeply influenced his career path – however, he didn’t initially take a direct route into horse training.

After completing high school, Bjorn pursued tertiary education, studying Pharmacy at Otago University. He enjoyed a successful career as a pharmacist for over a decade before eventually returning to the horse racing world. It was during his time working in the healthcare industry that Bjorn had a grounding in interpreting data and scientific studies and learned invaluable lessons about precision, discipline, process management and attention to detail – skills that would later serve him well as a trainer.
