THINK BELLA NIPOTINA. THINK PRIDE OF JENNI. AND NOW THINK ABOUT GETTING INTO THIS PRECOCIOUS, AUGUST FOAL BY THEIR SIRE AND BLUE DIAMOND WINNER, PRIDE OF DUBAI WITH THE SAME TRAINER.
It’s no wonder he is Ciaron Maher’s favourite Stallion with both those Gr.1 stars in his care and this girl is heading to him to train too.
Our girl is out a winning Fastnet Rock mare which is a highly successful cross. If you follow the stats, we have a one in two chance of winning a race and almost a 10% chance she will be a Stakes winner. Not bad when you consider so many don’t even make it to the track.
Hypothetical, a Stakes winner who was also beaten a lip in the Gr1 Oakleigh Plate is bred on the same pattern, so too was Stakes winning, Queen Of Dubai.
If she wins that one race she won’t be going backwards in value that’s for sure and if she can snag some Black Type… well… you know the rest. Ciaron describes her as a “good, strong, durable filly and as we’ve seen with my two mares, they only get better with time”.
Sire
PRIDE OF DUBAI The fastest 2yo son of the Mighty Street Cry (Sire of the likes of Winx, Zenyatta, Street Sense etc.) Pride Of Dubai is the only horse to complete the Gr.1 Blue Diamond Stakes/Gr.1 Sires’ Produce Stakes double. As many of the Street Cry progeny, they get better with age so who knows what he might have been as a racehorse.
As a Stallion he certainly has franked Coolmore’s decision to retire him early. He sits atop of the Sires table on prizemoney and has produced 6 individual Stakes winners this season, including Bella Nipotina, Deny Knowledge, Maharba, Pride Of Jenni, Desert Lightning and Buckets Ridge.
Dam
CLASSIC GOWN This is the first foal from Fastnet Rock mare, Classic Gown, a winner over 1200m. She is a 3/4 Sister to Stakes winner Captain Sweet and Stakes Placed, Smart Elissim.
Trainer
Ciaron Maher, needs little introduction. The master trainer finished last Season on top of the Australian Trainers Premiership and is likely to regain that mantle again this Season. Ciaron surrounds himself with the highest quality personnel and matched with world class facilities, he gets the results. Whether sprinters, milers or Melbourne Cups, Ciaron Maher delivers the dream for his owners.
We are thrilled to have Ciaron’s services as conditioner of our horses. Fast horses, Best Trainers creates Group One Success!
