Latest Update

8th May 2025

This lovely filly has been “chillaxing” in the paddock since we brought her home from the Sale. We still cannot the price we picked her up for and can highly recommend her to anyone wanting a thrilling journey with Gai and Adrian, without tremendous financial risk.

A WELL RELATED FILLY BY RUSSIAN REVOLUTION – TRAINED BY GAI & ADRIAN.

The Inglis HTBA (Hunter Thoroughbred Breeders Association) Sale is notorious for its outstanding value for buyers, and we believe we have found the nugget of the Sale with this magnificent filly, a daughter of the “winning machine”, Russian Revolution. In fact, he was purchased at approx. one fifth of his service fee!

A powerful, well put together girl, she will be trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott and is a brilliant, low-cost entry opportunity into such a powerful Stable.

She is out of a 3/4 sister to Gr2 and Gr3 winner, PELTZER, now standing at Twin Hills Stud and the High Chaparral cross has a 75% hit rate and has produced Gr3 winner, RUSSIAN ALLIANCE who won 5 races in a row as a 2yo.

Trainer

Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott have been in partnership since 2016. They have been a dominating force in the Australian thoroughbred industry ever since.

The story of Tulloch Lodge began in 1941 when TJ Smith, Gai’s father, received his training licence. During the next fifty years, Tulloch Lodge produced some of the best horses ever to run in Australia, including the legendary Kingston Town and Tulloch.

TJ became the most successful trainer of Group 1 winners in Australia, training a record 282 winners at the highest level, and receiving 33 consecutive trainers’ premierships. In 1992, TJ handed the reins to his daughter Gai, who has become a racing sensation in her own right and has steered Tulloch Lodge to new heights in the 21st century.

Following in her father’s footsteps, Gai has trained 160 Group 1 winners, including eight Golden Slippers. To date, Gai & Adrian have collectively trained 26 Group 1 winners.
