This now gelding has done a treat while pre-training with Matt Vella and has just arrived at Ciaron’s to step things up. He looks a treat – he has muscled up well and his coat is glowing which is great for this time of year. Ciaron will keep him ticking over, building up his work regime and we look forward to hopefully heading the races this time around.
This marvellous YES YES YES gelding we’re offering, has all the hallmarks of success. He is from a MEDICEAN mare who’s produced 3 to race, all winners. MEDICEAN is the Broodmare Sire of 36 Stakes winners, incl. Gr1 winner and stallion, Admire Mars. His half sister, Konsana is a multiple Group winner, she recently added a Group 2 win to her two Group 3 victories, securing the Gr.2 Westbury Classic in NZ.

YES YES YES was the brilliant winner of the $14 million The Everest in record-breaking time! One of the fastest horses from the Encosta De Lago sire line. He was the fastest ever winner over 1200m at Randwick, with earnings of over $7.2 million.
YES YES YES has been a massive revelation at Stud. In his second season he sits only behind clubhouse leader Too Darn Hot, for wins.
YES YES YES still holds the record for 1200m at Randwick, running faster time than NATURE STRIP, GIGA KICK and of course the mighty BELLA NIPOTINA. He also won the Gr.2 Todman Stakes at 2 in record-breaking time!
Dam
POSING is by one of the most successful Broodmare Sires of our time, MEDICEAN. She was a winner in Ireland and is the half-sister to Elshaadin who is the dam of MOQTARREB. This is her fourth foal. Dam of 3 foals to race, ALL WINNERS, including Gr.3 winner, Konasana who had a close up placing in a Group 3 at Flemington on Melbourne Cup day.
This International family is very rich in class. His 3rd Dam, MAGNIFICIENT STYLE is a Blue Hen mare who has produced Group winner after Group winner, incl. Gr1 winning and producing Sire, NATHANIEL as well as other Gr.1 winners, PLAYFUL ACT and GREAT HEAVENS.
Trainer
Australia’s No.1, Ciaron Maher trains this colt. Ciaron won last year’s National Trainers Premiership with 343 wins around the country and over $53mil in prizemoney. As of 17th Dec ’24 he currently leads the Table again with 143 wins and a massive $40mil+ in earnings. That is an incredible feat, considering the Season is only 4.5 months old.

Share Price Includes – Purchase Price, Nominations and Bonus Schemes, Clinicals and Mortality Insurance which is covered up to the 30th September 2025.
Ongoing Expenses and MMF: The Ongoing Expenses consist of a $77 flat Monthly Management Fee (MMF) per owner, regardless of share percentage. The remainder of the fees are the Ongoing Expenses for the horse billed monthly, in arears, which are split between the owners based on their percentage held. The following are estimated total monthly costs based on averages, as the Ongoing Expenses for the horse do vary depending on the current whereabouts of the horse i.e. training, spelling etc. The following amounts include both the $77 MMF and the average Ongoing Expenses combined:
- 2.5% – $162 estimated total monthly cost
- 5% – $247 estimated total monthly cost
- 10% – $417 estimated total monthly cost
