After having to settle for 2nd at her two starts with new trainer Jack Bruce, Smart Shazza scored her first career win in emphatic style at Ipswich today.
Starting hot favourite, the daughter of Smart Missile gave nothing else a chance as she control things up on the pace and gave a good hard kick at the end to score.
She wes piloted by Taylor Marshall and impeccably prepared and turned out for her maiden victory by Jack Bruce.
Smart Shazza has thrived since heading up north and with her toughness and racing style should continue to be the source of much joy for her ownership group.
