Anamoe brings together elite performance, depth of pedigree and a proven turn of foot at the highest level. His yearlings tend to be athletic, well-balanced types with the scope to improve as they mature. By focusing on his progeny, we’re targeting horses with both racing and future residual appeal.
We shortlist yearlings based on pedigree, physical type and sale inspections, then work closely with vets and our trainer network. Only horses that meet our criteria on conformation, temperament and x-ray results are considered. If the price doesn’t represent value, we’re happy to walk away.
Definitely. Many of our Anamoe yearling owners are brand new to the game. We take the time to explain ownership, costs, racing terms and realistic expectations, and we’re always available to answer questions.
Expect regular communication throughout the entire journey – from the breaking-in phase to barrier trials and race preparations. Updates typically include written reports, photos, videos and audio messages from trainers or the Blueblood team.
Not every horse becomes a star, but each one is given every chance to succeed. If a horse isn’t measuring up, we’ll discuss options with owners such as a change of environment, dropping in class, or retiring and rehoming always with the horse’s welfare and owners’ interests in mind.
