Emperor Tzu is airborne. The tough gelding has well and truly found his groove over 1800m, today adding a Metro Saturday victory to his growing résumé and making it three wins on the bounce at the trip.
Once again, the partnership with Jabez Johnston proved faultless. He rode Emperor Tzu with confidence and patience, presenting him at the right moment before the gelding surged down the straight, running over the top of them for a decisive half‑length win.
It’s another statement performance from a horse thriving in his preparation — and another milestone for the stable.
