*** A READY-MADE 4YO RACEHORSE IN FULL WORK WITH THE LINDSAY PARK TEAM ***
*** NEW SYNDICATION ***
G1 Goldmine 20/20 Match. Strong cross – this pattern appears 2.3x more often in stakes winners’ pedigrees
The pedigree is there, the education is behind him, the physical maturity has arrived and the racetrack is now firmly in sight.
There is a great deal to like about this magnificent 4YO gelding, particularly when you consider that much of the waiting associated with owning a young racehorse is already behind him.
Purchased at the New Zealand Bloodstock Ready to Run Sale, he has already undergone the education and preparation required to gallop at speed. Rather than rushing him to the races, he has been given the benefit of time to grow, strengthen and develop into his impressive frame.
Now in full work with the powerful Ben, Will & JD Hayes stable at Lindsay Park, he is progressing towards his first trial, which is expected very soon. All going well, it will then be straight on to the races!
He is by the exciting European Group 1 performer Hello Youmzain, out of a Lonhro mare who has produced three winners from three runners, and comes from a family boasting Group 1 winners and high-class performers.
WHY THIS GELDING APPEALS
- READY TO RUN SALE GRADUATE: Purchased at the NZB Ready to Run Sale, where horses are prepared to gallop under sale conditions. He has already benefited from that early education.
- TIME ON HIS SIDE: Given the opportunity to mature naturally and grow into his magnificent frame rather than being rushed as a younger horse.
- NOW IN FULL WORK: Currently in training with Ben, Will & JD Hayes at Lindsay Park.
- TRIALS IMMINENT: Expected to trial very soon, with the intention of progressing to the races shortly afterwards.
- GROUP 1 SIRE: By Hello Youmzain, a dual Group 1 winning European sprinter who has made an encouraging start to his stallion career.
- PROVEN PRODUCING DAM: Fearless Choice has had three runners for three winners.
- STRONG BLACK-TYPE FAMILY: His pedigree features Group winners More Radiant, Amelia’s Dream, Amelita and Elimbari, along with Gr 1 performers Young Werther and Grand Zulu.
THE ADVANTAGE OF BUYING A FOUR-YEAR-OLD
One of the greatest challenges in racehorse ownership is the waiting period between purchasing a yearling and eventually seeing it race.
With this gelding, much of that waiting is already behind us.
He was purchased as a Ready to Run horse, meaning he had already progressed through an important stage of his education before being given additional time to develop physically. That patience has allowed him to grow into the magnificent specimen he is today.
Now, rather than looking ahead to months of breaking in, spelling and early education, we are looking towards his first trial and the prospect of seeing him at the races in the near future.
There are never guarantees in racing, but having a mature, educated gelding already in full work certainly makes for an exciting ownership opportunity.
Sire
HELLO YOUMZAIN
Hello Youmzain was an outstanding European sprinter, winning five races, including two at Group 1 level.
His major victories included the Group 1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Group 1 Haydock Sprint
Cup, establishing him among Europe’s leading sprint performers.
A son of the influential speed sire Kodiac, Hello Youmzain combines precocious speed with the ability to compete
against elite opposition.
He was crowned Leading First Season Sire in New Zealand for the 2024–25 season, and his progeny include Group 2 winner Godspeed, Group 2 winner Sandringham and Group 2 winner Dostoevsky, demonstrating his ability to transmit his own racing talent to his offspring.

FEARLESS CHOICE
Fearless Choice is an unraced daughter of champion racehorse and outstanding stallion Lonhro, whose influence on Australian racing and breeding has been enormous.
Although she never raced herself, Fearless Choice has established a perfect record as a broodmare, with three
runners for three winners.
Her winners include:
- Fearless Thinking (So You Think): Three wins at 1150m and 1400m, earning $83,030, including two wins at
metropolitan level. - Artie Beastome (Flying Artie): Four wins to 1200m.
- Kingsford (Almanzor): Two wins at 1600m and 2000m during the 2025–26 season.
The fact that all three of her previous runners have won is a particularly appealing aspect of this gelding’s pedigree. It also demonstrates the versatility of the family, producing winners from sprint distances through
to 2000 metres.
Trainer
BEN, WILL & JD HAYES

There are few names more synonymous with Australian racing success than Hayes, and the latest generation of the family continues to build on that extraordinary legacy.
Brothers Ben, Will and JD Hayes head the Lindsay Park operation, combining a rich family history with a modern, professional approach to preparing racehorses.
Their facilities and training systems allow horses to be developed according to their individual requirements, an important consideration for a gelding who has been deliberately given additional time to mature.
The stable has enjoyed Group 1 success with horses such as Mr Brightside, one of Australia’s outstanding modern racehorses, and has demonstrated its ability to prepare horses to compete at the highest level.
With this gelding now in full work and approaching his first trial, he is in excellent hands as he prepares to take the next step in his racing career.
