A FILLY WE BELIEVE IS SOMETHING SPECIAL.
Blueblood Thoroughbreds is proud to offer 2.5% shares for $6,740 in this outstanding Proisir x I Get It (USA) filly, one of the highest-rated yearlings we’ve secured.
From the moment she stepped out of the Newhaven Park draft at The Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale, she stood apart. Powerful, athletic and beautifully balanced, she’s the type of filly that catches the eye of experienced horsemen immediately.
The Freedmans have spent decades training elite racehorses and are renowned for their measured approach. They know as well as anyone that talking up a young horse too early can quickly come back tobite. That’s why they’re typically very reserved in their assessments of two-year-olds.
This filly is different.
Not only have Sam and Anthony been a massive wrap for her from the outset, but their senior track riders, whose opinions they trust implicitly, reported back that she is “special.” Coming from professionals who assess hundreds of young horses every year, that is an endorsement we don’t take lightly.
The timing couldn’t be better. She is about to commence pre-training as she begins her journey towards racing, with the stable optimistic she has the natural maturity and athleticism to be given every opportunity to make an early two-year-old debut.
Our bloodstock team shares that enthusiasm, rating her A++.
Sire
PROISIR
There are successful stallions, and then there are stallions who shape a breed.
Proisir has become the dominant sire in New Zealand, earning Champion Sire honours through an extraordinary ability to consistently produce elite racehorses.
His progeny continue to excel on both sides of the Tasman, with Group 1 winners including Legarto, Prowess, Levante, Dark Destroyer, Waitak, Pier and many others carrying his banner at the highest level. What makes Proisir particularly exciting is the quality of his fillies.
Time and again, his daughters have demonstrated toughness, athleticism, class and an incredible will to compete. They train on, handle pressure and possess the versatility to perform from sprint trips through to classic instances. His female progeny have become the benchmark for New Zealand racing.
While Proisir’s influence has been dominant in New Zealand, his impact in Australia has been equally significant whenever given the opportunity. His elite performers have repeatedly crossed the Tasman and proven they can match—and beat—the very best Australia has to offer.
Perhaps even more exciting is what lies ahead.
The best stallions eventually become great broodmare sires, and all the signs point to Proisir following that path. His daughters possess the athleticism, soundness and constitution that breeders covet, making them highly valuable long after their racing careers conclude.
Owning a Proisir filly isn’t just an opportunity to race a potential stakes performer—it is the chance to own a valuable broodmare prospect whose pedigree and residual value are likely to appreciate with time.
Dam
I GET IT
Her dam, I Get It (USA), possessed one of the most valuable traits a broodmare can have she was an outstanding two-year-old.
A winner of five races, she put together three consecutive victories over a mile and 1700 metres as a juvenile, proving she had the precocity to perform early while possessing the strength and stamina to excel beyond the typical two-year-old distances.
That combination is rare and highly desirable.
She also earned Listed and Group 3 black-type, proving herself against quality opposition.
This is her first foal, giving investors the opportunity to race a filly from a proven international family with enormous upside both on the track and, in time, as a broodmare.
