We were thrilled to secure Inside Man via the Inglis Digital Online Auction (Jan Late 25) for $80k plus GST. He was offered by Coolmore who purchased him as a yearling at 2023 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale for $400k. With his superb pedigree they would have had intentions for him to make a Stallion, but it hasn’t eventuated.
Inside Man won very well on debut before he was spelled. As a colt and with him concentrating on “other things”, gelding him will allow him to reach his potential to become the quality racehorse he showed he can be with his win, so he will be gelded shortly.
By the mightly Lonhro, he has definitely picked up the handsome Sire’s supreme good looks and he’s out of a quality Exceed and Excel mare who’s produced 7 to race ALL WINNERS, Incl. 3 Stakeswinners.
Michael Freedman has been appointed his new trainer. Inside Man will commence pre-training on the 17th Feb ’25 and will commence full work at Michael’s in the first week of March ’25
We believe he will make a strong fist of anything up to a mile once he’s at his peak and very much look forward to seeing him kick off in our colours.
His next City win will virtually cover his buy-in price and the rest is cream after that!
