Annabel Neasham launched her own stable in 2020 and trained a winner with her very first runner, then her first Group 1 within nine months — matching Gai Waterhouse's Group 1 tally at the same point of her career.
From a Warwick Farm base set up in the middle of the pandemic, Neasham built a powerhouse around stars like Zaaki and Mo'unga, amassing more than ten Group 1 wins and 450-plus winners in just a few seasons. Zaaki alone has delivered multiple Group 1s, including the Doomben Cup, Underwood Stakes and Champions Stakes.
In 2024 she formed a training partnership with Rob Archibald — a former professional polo player who has worked for leading stables in the UK and Australia — pairing Annabel's horsemanship and race-day instincts with Rob's business and international experience. The team now runs a three-state operation across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland.
