Mick Price and Michael Kent Jr combine one of Victorian racing's most respected training records with a younger, data-led approach — a partnership formed in 2019 and now based at the stable.
Price, licensed since the early 1990s, has long been one of Australia's leading trainers, with Group 1 success including Grunt in the 2018 Australian Guineas, Mighty Boss in the 2017 Caulfield Guineas, and the brilliant sprinter Lankan Rupee, who won the Oakleigh Plate, Newmarket Handicap and T J Smith Stakes. He is especially well known for his work with two-year-olds.
Michael Kent Jr, son of trainer Michael Kent, brought international experience and a sharp eye for bloodstock and form analysis when he joined Price in 2019. From their the stable headquarters — with a Sydney base added for national reach — the stable gives owners access to one of the country's best training facilities.

Yes — all BBT owners are invited to stable visits. Race-day hospitality is included for major meetings.
Training fees are charged monthly based on your share. We disclose all costs upfront in the prospectus before you commit.
Yearlings typically debut at 2 or 3. the team is patient — we'd rather wait six weeks than rush a juvenile to its first start.
