Queensland's dominant city trainer and a multiple Group 1 winner. Twelve straight Brisbane metropolitan premierships and a stable built at Eagle Farm — the most consistent strike-rate in the north behind your next horse.
Tony Gollan is Queensland's leading metropolitan trainer, the winner of twelve consecutive Brisbane city premierships and an eight-time Group 1-winning trainer based at Eagle Farm.
Gollan started training in 1999 at the age of 20, saddling his first winner in Toowoomba before relocating his stable to Eagle Farm in 2012. That season also brought his first Group 1, Temple Of Boom in The Galaxy — the breakthrough that launched a record-breaking run of metropolitan premierships.
Group 1 success has since flowed through the likes of Spirit Of Boom, Vega One, Jonker, Krone and Antino, while Gollan has reset Queensland's benchmarks — including a state-record season of winners — and earned induction into the Queensland Racing Hall of Fame in 2025.
