Bold Julius appreciated the drop in grade and his new home in Queensland, wasting no time returning to the Winner’s list.
Formerly with Ciaron Maher, we decided a change of environment would be beneficial for this handsome son of Brazen Beau. He was sent to the very competent Jack Bruce up north where the standard is not as relentless as in the Southern states, and that decision paid off straight away with the 3yo scoring his 2nd career win at start no.11
Drawn off the track he was sent forward early and despite covering extra ground, he pressed on to sit outside the leader. He joined and headed that horse half way up the running to score convincingly.
We look forward to seeing Bold Julius improving his resumé now he has the chest out and his swagger bag after that confidence boost!
