A BEAUTIFUL OLE KIRK FILLY OUT OF A GOOD STALLION AND PROVEN MARE

THIS FILLY WAS AN ABSOLUTE STEAL

This is one cracking filly by OLE KIRK purchased from the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale. This filly was acquired late in the sale at a bargain price and considered an absolute steal. The Filly is out of a DARCI BRAHMA mare, SUPER TROUPER, and is a lovely style of filly with plenty of substance about her. A lot of quality there. She was one of the highest rated lots that Blueblood’s purchased at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale, a filly with a beautiful action.

Gerald Ryan & Sterling Alexiou will add their polish to this filly and as a result, they will give her the best chance to succeed at the track.

Our Filly passed 100% on her x-rays and clinical examination and was rated as low risk and suitable for syndication.

Comments – Trainer Gerald Ryan: Blueblood’s have bought a lovely filly by OLE KIRK, a first season stallion that I really have a wrap on. This is a really nice filly out of a good mare by DARCI BRAHMA, who has thrown a Sydney Saturday class winner. Good filly, moves well, well balanced, great colour, out of a good Stallion and proven mare. Do you want to have an interest that will race as 2yo?

UPDATE NOTES:

4.3.24

The Ole Kirk filly has arrived safely to Sam Fasher’s property in the Hawkesbury today, ready to commence being broken in.

This of course will be her first preparation towards her career ahead of becoming a racehorse. She is in outstanding hands with Sam who is a champion eventer and show jumper. Sam has broken in plenty of horses, and the finished product is a well-mannered and well-educated young horse.

The process of breaking in a horse is to desensitise them, familiarise them with wearing a saddle and gear, be mouthed, be dden and to adapt to the rider’s instructions. The filly will also go through the barriers so she can familiarise herself with that important aspect of going to the races. This new start to racing life can sometimes be a little stressful for a young horse but she is in good hands with Sam who will always put the filly’s well-being first.

The breaking in process usually takes around 30 days or so to complete and we will continue to update you on her progress each fortnight.
