Another super win by In Lighten Me at Hawkesbury yesterday. She is certainly racing in career best form and she went to another level yesterday. This is her 3rd Career win in only 10 starts taking her stakes earning to $65,595 with a lot more predicted to come.
Keagan Latham once again rode her brilliantly. She jumped away evenly but he just allowed her to keep creeping forward until he was able to slot into a beautiful position one out and one back. She travelled nicely and he brought her out into clear room at the top of the straight.
She ran home strong but it wasn’t until around the 150m mark that she really put the sword to them and motored away for a soft win in the end with a winning margin of nearly 3 Lengths
In Lighten Me has gone from strength to strength this preparation and Gerald Ryan believes there is more improvement to come still. A city race should be next on her agenda.
