A DOUBLE AT NEWCASTLE FOR BLUEBLOOD

Team Blueblood headed to Newcastle today with two runners and walked away with a racing double.

 

GOLDEN GATE headed to Newcastle today having her first start after trialing fairly recently. After settling just behind the leader, Andrew Adkins peeled the Nicconi filly out in the straight, showing a great turn of foot to power away from the field in the concluding stages and secure a 3.1L victory

MISS SCALINI jumped straight to the lead today and that is where she stayed, holding off all challenges for a narrow win.

It was a two horse race as they entered the straight and Miss Scalini proved too tough as they battled down the straight, showing great fight to edge out her rival.
