On debut DEHERO was solid, running into 4th on a Heavy 10 . Second up today and the Headwater filly showcased her potential using barrier 1 perfectly to sit on speed and when the heat turned up in the straight, she kicked clear of her challenger under the urgings of Jeff Penza to go home by 0.9L, with the field a further 4L behind.Dehero is trained by Gerald Ryan and Stirling Alexiou and was a graduate from the Adelaide Magic Millions 2021 Yearling Sales, purchased for $35,000.
