But today at Newcastle the Epaulette gelding broke through for a well-deserved win, ridden brilliantly by Benjamin Osmond.
They jumped cleanly from the low draw to push forward and sit outside the leader. At the top of the straight, he took over and left them standing, saluting by 3L.
