Gold Revolver wins easily first-up for a year

We were wrapt to see our boy, Gold Revolver lead from go to woah in a super-impressive 1st up performance at Rosehill yesterday.
It was a massive credit to both horse and trainers, Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott Racing with the son of Russian Revolution having been forced off the scene for almost 12 months due to injury.
Gold Revolver began like a bullet with rider Amy McLucas sending the 4yo straight to the front. From there it was just a matter of keeping him in a nice rhythm and leaving a bit in the tank for a solid kick at the end.
The horse showed plenty of ticker to hold off Balkans who tried in vain to bridge the gap. He had his chance though.

Congratulations to: BBT Goldylux, Mr K Harmston, Mr D Bates, Mr S Hay, Mrs S J Hay, Ms S Hegedus, Mr S Koob, Mr B G Shanahan, Mr R T Simpson, Mr L A Tatam, Mr T Windsor, Mr S F Baker, Mr L Goble, Ms H McMahon, Mr D T Plunkett, Mr J Yarrow andMr M T Molloy

Speaking of Russian Revolution, we have three very smart yearlings by this amazing sire, who is doing a great job at stud. In fact he is leading the 3rd Season Sires on winners.

This one in particular is a magnificent grey, already broken in and will be a flying machine.
