Team BlueBlood are engaged with two runners today in two state’s both city runners at Victorian headquarters FLEMINGTON and in Sydney at ROSEHILL.
Firstly, LIGHTSABER will contest Race 4 the Listed Sofitel over 1400m at Flemington he will be from barrier 9 with Luke Nolan to ride. The 4YO entire is coming off the back of a searching fitness run in Grp 1 Memsie Stakes a fortnight ago. Peter Moody has commented that he will need this run today to tighten him up further and get him fit to back up next week at Caulfield in the Grp 1 Neds Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (1400 METRES).
We should see a much improved run from LIGHTSABER getting that little bit fitter for next week Grp 1.
The second runner will be at Rosehill, the exciting last time winner CONCOCTED, has his first run at Rosehill in a Midway chasing $120,000 prizemoney. His trainer Nathan Doyle has a very high opinion of the son of Capitalist and he should show a competitive racing pattern under the guidance of good jockey Brendon Avdulla.
