ZERO DOUBT will tomorrow tackle a major step up in grade for the BlueBlood Team when he contests the $200,000 Grp 2 Autumn Stakes on his home track at Caulfield over 1400m. Trained by Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr, the Not A Single Doubt gelding has won his last 2 starts including a very impressively last start back on the 25th January at Caulfield in Saturday grade, taking his earnings over $104,000 in just 6 starts. He will be ridden by senior hoop, Noel Callow.
The Autumn Stakes has been won by some very good horses such as Canny Lad, Apache Cat and Denman and is usually a warm up event for the Grp 1 Australian Guineas on Super Saturday in March. If all goes to plan with Zero Doubt, then that would be his progressive step.
