After MUSSENPHERE successful debut win on Friday night for team BlueBlood at Cranbourne and then less than 24 hrs later PROSPERO broke through for his debut win at Port Macquarie with a good ride by Ashley Morgan (replay attached). PROSPERO once trained by Gai Waterhouse was transferred to Nathan Doyle Newcastle stables to try and give the son of Pierro a new lease on life and a more relaxed stable working environment. This plan paid off yesterday for our patient owners. There are much more wins ahead for PROSPERO and he will only getter better with that confidence now and when he gets over further distance.
David Mourad BlueBlood’s Racing Manager added “The odds were against PROSPERO a few months ago, if we taken the vets recommendation he would been retired from racing but vets are not always right and I was confident with time he would return successful. A great bonus for our trustworthy owners was he was BOBS eligible and picked up another $5625 on top of the prize money for winning. Great to see him win and we all think he will go on from here and win more races for our team of owners”.
