CHEERFUL LEGEND and Nathan Doyle are a match made in heaven. Since moving to his yard the talented Shalaa gelding has added two wins and a narrow second in four starts.
Today’s effort was arguably the best yet. Settled towards the rear from the outside alley, Jason Collett swung the widest at the top of the straight and the 4YO let loose, flying down the centre of the track to salute by half a length.
