STARBORETA continues her stellar form at Rosehill yesterday with an electric finish, making it three wins from five starts this prep. The more rare feat was BlueBlood and Nathan Doyle secured the quinella in Race 6 at Rosehill Gardens with Cheerful Legend running a short head second to Starboreta.
The win was decided by a patient ride from Tyler Schiller on Starboreta, waiting for the right time to start their run from the tail. Once the reins were shook, the Star Witness mare let down powerfully down the outside just to pip her stable mate, Cheerful Legend, on the post.
A wonderful syndication performance for BlueBlood Thoroughbreds who not only syndicated the winner, but also syndicated the quinella as Cheerful Legend made a similar run from the back to run a narrow 2nd.
