UP AND COMER had a difficult job first-up at Orange, forced to travel wide with no cover but showed good fight to grab 3rd.
Second-up today at Wyong and the Press Statement filly would have no issues in the run from barrier 2, jumping cleanly to land beautifully in the one out, one back.
With the short straight Chad Schofield got working early, and at the top of the straight she was within striking distance, and that’s all she needed letting down powerfully for a good half-length win.
Great training performance by Annabel Neasham Racing – her first winner for Blueblood Thoroughbreds
Special mention to Cavallo Park / Bella Jane Lodge who bred UP AND COMER
Congratulations to Connections
