A tough run over the 1000m last start ensured WATERWORLD had plenty of fitness heading into today’s assignment.
The Headwater gelding proved a class above mustering quickly from the rail draw to find the lead. It was an easy watch from there, as Brian Higgins kept a nice rhythm, and kicked clear in the straight to score by 3 lengths.
